Bio | Nate Huvard is a highly skilled musician specializing in plucked strings, including theorbo, lute, guitar, mandolin, and banjo. With experience in a wide range of ensembles, from large orchestras to small chamber groups, Nate has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Recent continuo credits include J.S. Bach’s ‘St. John Passion’ with the Greater Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra and John Blow’s ‘Venus & Adonis’ with Stony Brook Opera. Nate holds a Master of Music and Master of Musical Arts from the Yale School of Music and is a Doctorate of Musical Arts Candidate at Stony Brook University. He is currently the lute/guitar/mandolin chair for the Broadway revival of Camelot at Lincoln Center Theater. |
