Wanted: Curly koa 8 course renaissance lute by George Gilmore

Back in about 1974 I bought a curly koa 8-course renaissance lute made by the Hawai’i luthier George Gilmore. I was the original owner. It was very beautiful, but over the years I got busy with other things and needed some extra cash, and so at some point in the 1980s I sold it. I think the man who bought it was moving to Massachusetts. Now that I’m retired, I would love to learn how that lute is and possibly buy it back. I wonder if anyone here might have seen it over the years, or might know who currently owns it (if it survived all these years)? It was a unique instrument—I doubt there is another curly koa 8-course lute made by Gilmore from that era—so if you’ve seen one matching that description, it’s probably my old friend.
