A very nice eight courses lute made in 1980 by Swedish maker Margareta Fridstrand.
Very sweet and clear sound. Despite forty years of use, the instrument is in very good condition and very easy to play.
String length: 59cm;
13 ribs made in yew;
Neck, fingerboard and pegbox veneered in ebony.
The lute is at present strung in Nylgut (except for the chanterelle) with loaded basses.
The lute comes with its original Paxman case.
At present it can be tested in Bremen but can be shipped overseas.
