7 Course Hans Frei-model Renaissance Lute

Selling my trusty lute which I have put hundreds of hours of practice on but no longer have the space for in my collection. It is a very nice instrument with excellent projection. It was made by the Spanish luthier Jose Angel Espejo. 63 cm string length, maple bowl, spruce soundboard with a beautiful hand carved rose, ebony fingerboard and pegbox.
It is currently strung in Nylgut at a=415, but also includes a full set of gut strings that originally cost $300 for the full set. Some of the treble guts strings have gone false and could be replaced by Boston Catlines for ~$60.
The soundboard has a very slim 6 inch crack on it. It is not really noticeable from more than a foot away, is stable, and doesn’t affect the sound.
Includes a well-fitting Kingham Case.
